Yue Li

Ms. Li was born and raised in China, and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese and English. She initially obtained her L.L.B. in law from East China University of Political Science and Law, where she majored in International Trade Law.

Ms. Li then moved to the United States and received her Juris Doctorate Degree (law degree) and an LL.M. degree (Master  of Laws degree) from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011.  During law school, Ms. Li won the CALI award, which is awarded to the student with the highest grade in a given class, on two occasions. She also served as Teaching Assistant for the Business Associations class. Ms. Li graduated first in her LL.M. class.

Through fierce competition, Ms. Li was selected and worked as a law clerk at the University of Illinois University Counsel Office for one semester, and clerked for Honorable Holly F. Clemons at Champaign County Court during her winter break.

After graduating from University of Illinois College of Law, Yue Li relocated to the Southern California and was admitted to practice in the State of California in 2012. Ms. Li specializes in business transactions and business litigation. Being bi-lingual in English and Chinese, Ms. Li focuses on companies and clients doing business in China and/or with Chinese ties.  She has drafted and reviewed many complicated agreements, including  OEM Agreements, licenses and commercial leases. Even though Ms. Li specializes in corporate transactions, she has served as advisor on business litigation matters; she recently served in a critical role as a trial attorney in a business trial in Los Angeles County wherein she helped win a $660,000 judgment for her client.
