I wouldn’t use anyone else
I have known John for nearly 20 years. Over that time, he has helped me with contracts, negotiations, and other legal matters. His knowledge and ability to navigate complex issues are nothing short of exceptional. He is down-to-earth and makes you feel like your family. He genuinely cares about my issues and concerns, and always explains everything to me clearly and honestly. He is a true master of his craft, and I wouldn’t use anyone else.

John cares about your business
Some attorneys talk down to their clients. Some attorneys care more about their business than yours. John Tiedt talks to you and he cares about your business. John instantly becomes a part of your team and he guides you to building a safe and secure business. Attorneys are also known for making disputes worse and very costly. John is a problem solver who looks for the creative win-win solution. He is persuasive but when litigation is necessary, I want John to represent me as he is an experienced trial attorney and his bill for services has always been fair.

I like their “prevent lawsuits before they happen” approach
I am a Chinese entrepreneur. I immigrated to Unites States 5 years ago. I own a company in Shanghai, China that employs over 120 employees. I am also engaged in several businesses in California with my business partners, in various industries. Tiedt & Hurd has served as the general counsel for all of my businesses for the past five years, and I could not be happier with them. They always get things done timely and cost-effectively. They explain the legal issues and contract terms to me in lay man terms and I can understand 100%. As a business owner, I like their “prevent lawsuits before they happen” approach. They write contracts with a high level of protection, which deters lawsuits from happening. Within the past five years, I have not had a single litigation or litigation threat with the contracts they prepared for me. They understand my needs very well, and think from the client’s perspective. Tiedt & Hurd also has tremendous resources in the legal industry in China. Whenever I have a legal issues comes up, be it pertaining to the US law or Chinese law, Tiedt & Hurd is the firm I talked to. I trust them in helping me resolve the issue in the best way possible.

Marc is a superb attorney. He goes the extra mile to make sure his clients have a clear understanding of the legal process and an understanding of the legal jargon that is used. He is also very personable and even did a house call when we were not able to get to his office. I “HIGHLY” recommend Marc for legal services. I would not hesitate for a minute on calling on Marc should I ever need legal representation again.
